Traffic Roundup Fast Start Tips
Getting the Most Out of Your Advertising, Pt 2

Last time we covered some very good ways for you
to get the most out of your advertising by using
splash pages, branding (name recognition, such
as pictures, logos, etc.), and lead capture pages.
This time, we will cover some very important things
that you should be doing if you are serious about
making money on the Net.
Don't join nor advertise too many programs
This is a very common mistake. Certainly, a lot
of things look great, but if you join every biz
opp that comes along, you will be headed for
failure.
Why?
Because you can only effectively promote a few
things. Even if you bought thousands of credits
on dozens of exchanges, those exchanges can only
show your site a certain amount of times each day.
Example:
You are involved in 10 things you want to promote.
You surf and acquire 100 credits on a traffic
exchange. So, each site you are promoting will get
10 views each. This is not nearly enough to build a
business. Your business might require thousands of
views before you get a sale or signup.
As admin of TrafficRoundup, I see it all the time.
Sometimes I may have to approve rotators that have 20, 30 sites or
more for one member. This will not work. These
are the people with high hopes, yet end up giving
up the business in a matter of weeks or months.
Please don't do this to yourself. Pick one, two
or three good programs that you believe in and
promote those only.
In fact, don't promote any programs at all.
Huh?
What I mean is, promote yourself. If you promote
yourself and sell yourself, you will literally
have people going out of their way to join you
in whatever business you are promoting.
Does that make sense? This is a people business
and people need to have familiararity with things
before they will take action. It's your job to
ensure them that you are the successful leader
they are looking for.
How can you be that person if you are jumping
from business to business; here, there and
everywhere?
In fact, let's take it a step further. Don't
promote anybody else's business but yours.
Huh?
That's right - the people that make the most
money in Internet Marketing are those that
OWN their own businesses. If you are promoting
someone else's business, you are making more
money for them than you are for yourself.
Certainly, it will take time for you to decide
what you want to do. But pay attention to what
other people are successful with and act
accordingly.
So, if you have not done so already, make up
your mind that you will discover what business
you can start on the Internet and keep your
eyes open until the idea comes to you. I don't
mean someone else's business that you can join;
I mean your own business. It might take awhile,
but if you are dedicated and want this badly
enough, you'll find it.
We very much appreciate your Traffic Roundup membership.
Please let us know if you have any questions or problems.
